If you need to play matches out of time you must pay your court fee the following Tuesday to the ladies on the canteen and notify Helen when you have rescheduled to so she can confirm court availability. There were eight matches not played last week.

Jordan Richardson and Nia Boggs had a good first up battle last week in their match which finished in a 5 all draw. Georgie Coote is travelling over from Forbes each week as they don’t have any junior competitions and she was pleased with her 5/2 win over Bella Gould.
Ethan Hunt was in fine form after his Bathurst JDS match play and he played very well against Cody Morgan with plenty of good rallies on show. Ethan won 6/3.
Brookelyn Pinkstone has been on court practising and it showed in her match against Nick Gascoigne when she scored a 4/2 win.
Isabella Anderson was most impressive in her match against Simon Hogan coming away with a 4/1 scoreline.
In a sibling battle it was Bill Mahon who just defeated twin sister Meg on the whistle 2 games to 1 to take bragging rights for a couple of weeks.
Lucy Hall and Ruby Wilson had a good match with Lucy serving very well to finish with a 5/1 scoreline. Faith Clarke also made a good start to her comp tennis this term with a 5/2 victory over Henry Rice.
Thomas Simpson is out to repeat his impressive form last comp and he started in the right way with a 5/0 win over Coen Glastonbury who was a little rusty after the Summer break.
Tia Dunn and Xander MacGregor both did pretty well not having picked up racquets during January to finish in a 4 all draw while Nate Harrison is still showing plenty of enthusiasm and cruised to a 5/1 win over Josh Riley.
Only 2 matches in the singles and doubles last week with Kayla Swetland and Anna Westcott combining well in the doubles to defeat Molly Kennedy and Jack Rice 2 sets to 1 after they split the singles one set each.
Gabe Goodrick and Kaid Lydford started their new combination off well with a 2 sets to 1 win over Monique Morgan and Talesha Ellis. Gabe defeated Monique 6/1 while Talesha turned the tables and scored a hard fought 6/4 win over Kaid.
LACHLAN TEAM
Congratulations to Joseph Tanswell, Cody Kirk, Ellen Dolbel, Molly Kennedy, Lily McCormick all from Parkes Public, along with Jay Arrow from Middleton who have played their way into the Lachlan PSSA team.
PSSA KNOCKOUT
Parkes East and Parkes Public will open their 2017 knockout campaign against each other next Monday.
CENTRAL WEST JDS
This Sunday will see two JDS events on at Warren and Nepean. Entries close tomorrow night. Parkes will have players travelling to both tournaments.
SPRINGWOOD JDS
Olivia Dolbel travelled to Springwood on Sunday to compete in their Junior Development Series Tournament. Olivia is working hard and continuing to improve her game.
