Monday, March 6 – Local concert
Come to our local concert day which will be held at the Town Bowling Club, Cecile Street Parkes.
A variety of local talent will keep you entertained, and dancing if you feel inspired to do so!
We will also have a sing-a-long that will be inclusive of all singing talents!
Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Cost is $10.
Wednesday, March 8 – Bollywood comes to Parkes, movie morning
Join us at Neighbourhood Central for our screening of the wonderful movie ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’.
The movie tells the story of seven English seniors who undergo life changes as a result of their experience at the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
If the mood takes you, dress up in your finest colourful outfits or multicultural dress, and try some delicious Indian sweets, while also enjoying a traditional morning tea.
We look forward to sharing this exciting cultural experience with you. Cost is $5.
Thursday, March 9 – Central West Elders Olympics
Forget the Rio Olympics, bring on the 2017 Central West Elders Olympics that will take place this year in Orange.
Seniors can enjoy an action-packed day of activities at the Central West Elders Olympics.
This will be a wonderful day as we travel to Orange as a team and partake in the sports ability activities that everyone can participate in.
No matter what your age or capabilities are, there will be fun for all.
A barbecue lunch will be provided as well as transport. Cost is $5.
Tickets are on sale now!
Bookings will only be taken at Neighbourhood Central, 80-82 Currajong Street Parkes.
