The Mid Lachlan Valley Rural Fire Service Team have 15 tankers on site fighting the fire on both sides of the ridge with reinforcements currently on the way from Cabonne.
Earlier two fire bombers directly attacked the blaze with gel and are now dropping retardant ahead of the fire.
