Tara and her husband Berndt Sellheim headed back to Parkes for their second festival and were spotted strolling around Festival Boulevard.
“Our beautiful friends are regulars, and sharing the experience with them is something I wouldn’t want to miss,” Tara said.
“This year we all made matching gold dresses to go with the Viva Las Vegas theme, and had many sewing bees in the lead up.”
Tara said she started learning to sew last year.
“I love the way the whole town gets behind the festival and makes it a special experience, from the locals and shop owners to the dancers, kids and Elvis Tribute Artists,” she said.
“This year my husband and I are covering the festival again for my VictoryLamour.com blog, where I celebrate all things vintage.
“He is a wonderful photographer and I love to write about it.
“The Parkes Elvis Festival is a great experience for vintage nerds like myself.”
Of course Tara said her favourite Elvis song would have to be Can’t Help Falling In Love.
And if she could describe the festival in one word, she said it would be “unmissable”.
