A fitting tribute to the king

FOR many singing and dancing like Elvis is an enjoyable pastime but for tribute artist Trevor Martin it’s serious business.

Mr Martin, who has travelled from Sydney for the Parkes Elvis Festival, said a lot of time and effort went into his performances.

“You’ve got to spend time and money to get it right,” he said.

“To be a tribute artist you’ve got to sing it his way.”

Mr Martin said he wanted to immerse himself in the spirit of the festival.

“I like that everyone is here to represent the great man and live and breathe him,” he said.
