Strike Force Creekwood culminated on Thursday as 32 officers from Lachlan LAC, LAC Western Region and the drug unit executed three simultaneous search warrants on residential premises in town.
As a result of the Strike Force and Thursday’s search warrants, a 34-year-old male from a Medlyn Street address has been charged with 25 counts of supplying a prohibited drug, and a 31-year-old female from the same address has been charged with 10 counts of supplying a prohibited drug.
A 26-year-old male from a High Street address has been charged with 33 counts of supplying a prohibited drug, while an 18-year-old male from the same address is in custody assisting police with their investigation.
A 27-year-old male from a Bogan Street address has been charged with 51 counts of supplying a prohibited drug and one count of dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Police also seized four vehicles which they alleged were used in the commission of serious drug offences.
A significant quantity of tools suspected to be stolen or otherwise illegally obtained were also seized from the premises.
Four persons have been refused bail by Police and will appear before the courts in a bail hearing on Thursday or Friday.
Crime Manager Detective Chief Inspector Scott Rayner said police are anticipating further arrests.
“Lachlan officers are committed to targeting the use and supply of prohibited drugs in the local area command and today's result is evidence of that commitment,” he said.
“Ice is a highly addictive and destructive drug that can ruin not only the lives of those using it, but their families as well.
“The ripple effect is far-reaching and the consequences can be devastating.
“We are working hard to investigate and prosecute anyone involved in supply of this, and any other, illicit substance.”
