Sydney solicitor Patrick Conaghan appeared before Magistrate Robert Rabbidge, representing Penelope Karen Sense (45) and David Francis Sense (53), who also appeared via audio visual link from Wellington Correctional Centre.
Mr Conaghan – who was seeking bail for the couple – told the court his clients understood the seriousness of the allegations and that they had limited or no criminal history.
“Mr Sense’s alleged involvement is considerably less than [his wife’s],” he said.
Magistrate Rabbidge was satisfied to grant the pair the strict conditional bail and adjourned the matters to February 6.
The Senses, as well as Kristy Osborne (41) were arrested last Wednesday after their properties were raided by Local Lachlan Area Command police simultaneously.
Osborne who also appeared yesterday, was granted strict conditional bail on Wednesday afternoon.
Her matters have been adjourned to January 16.
