For the first time in the event's 25-year history, daily return aeroplane charters will transport city-siders from Sydney to Parkes.
All the glitz, glamour and fun of the festival will be just a short plane ride away, with charters on offer for small groups.
“Parkes Elvis Festival continues to enjoy a strong audience growth, with more than 22,000 visitors attending the Festival in 2016,” festival director Cathy Treasure said.
“With the number of visitors expected to increase in 2017, we've had to expand our transport options to accommodate all the festival-goers.”
In another first for the festival, bus tours will be available from the nation's capital.
Having been identified as an emerging visitor market, a daily bus shuttle will run from Canberra as well as a complete travel and accommodation package.
Cathy said this included return travel from Canberra to Parkes, four nights' stay with breakfast daily at four star accommodation, with transfers between the accommodation and the festival each day with Experience Canberra.
Cowra Motor Inn is also offering a four-day package that includes accommodation, coach transfers, selected meals and event tickets.
For locals or those who prefer to organise their own accommodation, Visit Orange are providing daily return shuttles on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and Cowra Tourism are providing daily return shuttles on the Saturday and Sunday.
The popular Forbes service provided by Forbes Shire Council will return with an increase in services, and the festival will be providing services to Peak Hill and the Dish.
"The shuttle services provides Central West locals with the opportunity to travel to Parkes to enjoy the Festival with the knowledge that an affordable transport option will bring them home safely," Cathy said..
"With new locations added to our service we're excited to welcome new, as well as our returning festival-goers."
Parkes Elvis Festival has again engaged Western Road Liners to operate the Parkes, Peak Hill and Dish bus shuttle services during the 2017 festival, from January 11-15.
