Snap happy Parkes Elvis Festival punters will have the opportunity to win cash-loaded pre-paid VISA cards and photoPICO gift vouchers when the Parkes Elvis Festival Photography Competition returns in 2017.

The festival is celebrating a milestone 25th anniversary next year and festival director Cathy Treasure is calling on people to enter photos from the early digital days of the event.
“We really want to celebrate our great history this year and what better way to show how vibrant the Parkes Elvis Festival has been in years past than to have an exhibition showing all the wonderful fun had by people in the past,” she said.
Photography entered into the competition will be printed large and on display for all to see in the Coventry Room of the Parkes Shire Library during the 2017 Parkes Elvis Festival.
All ages can enter and each person can submit up to six images.
There are four categories: digital portrait, digital black and white, digital colour and even a smartphone category so people can even take out a win with a well-focused Instagram shot.
Entries close 5pm on Monday, November 14.
