Here’s&nbsp;a collection of photos we’ve gathered&nbsp;from around Parkes during and after the freak flash storm on Friday night. The Champion Post&nbsp;trekked around town snapping the aftermath of the storm on Saturday. Our readers have also kindly shared some of their photos of what they captured during the frightening ordeal.

Not even the awnings at the Star Hotel escaped damage, with the hail stones leaving their mark.

An uprooted tree came crashing down on a fence, ripping its bases from the ground, near the Northparkes Motel on the Newell Highway.

Another tree snapped in half, smashing a fence at the Parkes Showground, in Ward Street.

Large branches were left strewn throughout Parkes following the freak flash storm on Friday night.

A large tree at Bushman's Dam didn't survive last night's freak flash storm that swept through Parkes at 7pm.

One of the walls at Gecko Pizza & Take Away on the Newell Highway gave way during the storm.

Emergency services cordoned off the area at Gecko Pizza & Take Away and had to control traffic on the Newell Highway through the night until the rubble could be cleaned up.

Firefighters from surrounding areas and local police also cordoned off the Swan Cafe out of fear one of its walls was going to collapse when it buckled during the storm.

Parkes streets looked like they had been hit by a tornado.

Tammy Frame posted this photo on our Facebook page and said it was so terrifying out the Back Trundle Road they thought their windows were going to break.

The Henry Parkes Centre was hit hard during the freak flash storm.

Massive roots belonging to a massive tree that was one of three trees that fell, side by side one another, at the Henry Parkes Centre.

This uprooted tree fell across a driveway, near a power pole in Hill Street.

The residents of this household were lucky this uprooted tree fell only across the driveway and away from the house in Hill Street.

This tree in Victoria Street, in the town's west, was ripped from its base and pushed a metre or two.

A council worker finished the clean up in Thornbury Street before heading to his next job on Saturday afternoon.
