The 32-person strong team is the second highest fundraising group so far out of the 27 teams, having collected $2757. The highest as of 6pm Wednesday is TJ's Tribe, led by Laura Nash, with $3046.
It’s Signs You See Happy Feet’s first time participating in the Relay and their original goal was to raise $2000.
“We’re aiming for $5000 now,” Kirsty said.
Teammates Kelly Logan and seven-year-old Kasey Ehsman also said they just wanted to help people with cancer.
“We want to kick cancer in the butt,” Kasey said.
The Relay for Life will begin with the opening ceremony at 3.45pm on Saturday, October 22 with the candlelight ceremony at 6.30pm. The closing ceremony is at 8.30am Sunday, October 23.
