Across the four games 1,040 people watched on from the stands at Carrington Park and saw the hosts and the visitors notch up two wins apiece.
“We didn’t know what to expect with the crowd being the first time we have done it and it being late in the season for rugby league,” Country Rugby League’s Western regional administrator coordinator Evan Jones said.
“So it really was an unexpected entity for us, but we are really happy with the way the day has gone, and the football was sensational as well.
“It was a different time of year to be playing footy, but conditions were perfect – 20 degrees and not a cloud in the sky – and that lent it itself to some pretty quick and skillful footy.
“There were four great games of footy, but we would have liked to grab first grade.”
