Holy Family School was named the champion school in the girls’ competition, the Lois Jones Cup, after an excellent day of hockey from all team members.
Holy Family defeated Middleton 1-0 (Meghan Searl), defeated Parkes East 8-0 (Lauren Nichols 3, Chloe Carty 2, Halli Brownlow, Meghan Searl, Olivia Nichols) and defeated Parkes Public 3-1 (Olivia Nichols 2, Chloe Carty).
The Holy Family girls were thrilled with the well-deserved result as they had played brilliant team hockey all day.
Holy Family defeated Middleton 5-0 (Charlie Denham Jones (3), Hugh Daley, Xavier Scally), defeated Parkes East 5-0 (Charlie Denham-Jones 3, Charlie Summerhayes, Kyan Redfern) and were narrowly defeated by Parkes Public 1-0.
