Weekend of bowls was very enjoyable, winners were George Greenhalgh and Greg Howlett. Runners up were Col Hornery and Michael Furney. Sunday was again washed out with a couple of matches set down and will be played at a later date. Wednesday was also postponed.

AGM on October 16, all welcome. Anyone who would like to join the committee are encouraged to nominate. Coming up are handicapped pairs and mixed. We have 14 teams at moment and are looking at 20 teams for late October. Champagne Triples will be played shortly with hopefully $4000 in prize money.
The club is going all out this year to make this year’s Elvis Festival a success with music supplied for four days of the festival, meals will be available plus other events including Karaoke bowls and more. This Saturday weather permitting Social Bowls names in by 12.30pm commencing at 1pm. Sunday bowls commencing at 12pm names in by 12.30pm.
