Bingo: A great day was had in Tullamore on Monday where Kelly Dunn arranged a morning of Bingo run by the Royal Far West. A delightful lunch was served and 14 hands of bingo played. Jenny Day was also present and did a few stroke activities which proved very interesting to the ladies. A big thank you to all the helpers on the day, particularly the kitchen ladies.

Small grants for Rural Communities: The Small Grants for Rural Communities is the longest running and broadest program FRRR offers opening twice per year. Grants up to $5000 are available for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for communities in rural, regional or remote Australia. Priority is given to communities of 10,000 or fewer.
The program funds a wide range of projects such as: Repair and maintenance of small to mid scale community infrastructure, such as public halls, pre-schools and recreation reserves and providing communications equipment and enhancing infrastructure and systems, especially for emergency services organisations. Barnardos Children’s Support Program: The Barnardos Children’s Support Program(BCSP) provides small grants of up to $5000 per grant to help children aged 4-18 years who are experiencing significant disadvantage. Swimming Club news: Well it is that time almost again. The Swimming Club Raffle will be out in the shops this week to purchase tickets. First prize: family season ticket. Second prize: a dinner hamper.
