The championships will be played at the Goulburn Golf Club on the weekend of October 29 and 30.
Betland said that picking the team was a difficult decision and that some eight players had come under consideration, especially now that players had to contest several events away from their home club.
All players under consideration had to contest the annual Parkes Open Tournament.
The team announced includes three players from both Parkes and Forbes clubs with team containing brothers Steve and John Betland, and Lee Griersen of Forbes, and the Parkes trio of Justin Sutton, Mitch McGlashan and Cameron Butler, with Paul Thomas as manager.
All six players performed creditably at last week’s SCT Parkes Open Tournament.
Steve Betland took the title after a superb 2 under par round of 69 to head the strongest field ever assembled for the prestigious event and the remaining team members all excelled to finish in the top 10 on a course that played extremely difficult.
