Central West Local Land Services customer service staff are available to receive individual damage reports.
Farmers are encouraged to call 1300 795 299, email emergency.centralwest@lls.nsw.gov.au or contact their nearest Local Land Services office to report agricultural losses including fencing, crops and stranded, injured or deceased livestock.
Team Leader Animal Biosecurity and Welfare Jillian Kelly said staff would be working with land managers to gain an understanding of the damage.
“We need to assess the extent and nature of the damage to better direct resources and provide assistance to producers,” Dr Kelly said.
Local Land Services will collate the information reported by farmers into an Agricultural Natural Disaster Report.
