Considering the weather conditions on Friday, September 2, the Friends of the Parkes Hospital once again organised a successful cake and Father's Day raffle in the entrance to the Parkes Hospital.

The prizes were donated by Parkes Cellars, Col Fletcher and Betta Electrical.
Thank you to all who donated goods, purchased cakes and raffle tickets.
First prize, drawn by Midwife Nikki White, was won by Carolyn Rice, second prize went to Christine Byrnes, and third prize to Kym Hodges.
Our usual monthly raffle held at Woolworths was conducted on September 9, the lucky winner was Pat Harbridge.
Our next raffle will be held on October 20.
The State Conference will be held at Bankstown on October 26 and 27, any member wishing to attend please contact Kym or Donna.
Our monthly meetings continue to be held on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Parkes Hospital at 7pm. – PAULINE GOSPER
