Emily Brotherton was a field reporter for WIN News Central West where she covered major stories in Orange, Parkes, Forbes and Cowra areas.
She has a love for regional NSW having grown up in Orange and studied a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst.
Emily said the new role will be a challenge, “but it's something that I am really excited to be part of,” she said.
“I am interested in issues affecting regional communities and have a passion for development strategies that improve work and lifestyle opportunities for Australians living in [regional] centres.”
Emily has worked in London as an events officer at the London Olympic and Paralympic Games, and with the International Rugby Board at the Dubai Rugby Sevens Tournament. She was also the first video journalist for WIN News covering western NSW, and she hopes to integrate her video production skills into her new role.
