A 53 year old interstate truck driver from the Northern Territory is fighting for his life in a Sydney hospital after being seriously injured in an accident at a depot in Alluvial Street at 5.30pm on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to the scene after the man was pinned by a 500kg concrete road barrier that had fallen from a forklift.
The barriers were being loaded onto his truck when the accident happened.
Staff at the depot were able to release the man before an ambulance arrived.
He was stabilised by paramedics and later flown by helicopter to Westmead where he remains in a critical condition.
Workcover were advised and attended the scene, where they will conduct their own investigation.
Crime Scene Police assessed the site on Thursday morning.

A $110,000 caravan parked on a property in Watts Lane, Tichborne, was destroyed by fire on Wednesday morning.
Parkes Rural Fire Service and police were called to the scene at 11am.
The cause is yet to be officially determined, but it may have started in an electric blanket left switched on and unattended.

The two 20 year olds and one 28 year old are banned from entering any licensed premises in the Parkes Shire for 12 months.
The bans were given as a result of the men being involved in incidents at licensed premises.

A lost credit card was used for repeat purchases at several liquor outlets and supermarkets at least 12 times over the two days.
Over $560 was fraudulently spent.
Police are viewing CCTV and interviewing witnesses in an attempt to identify the offender.

A 26 year old Peak Hill woman was issued with a criminal infringement notice at 4.10pm on Wednesday afternoon for shoplifting.
The woman allegedly stole underwear and hair dye to the value of $50 from a retail store in Parkes.
She was fined $500.

Vandals have maliciously damaged a cannon and bench at Memorial Hill by spray-painting offensive pictures on them.
CCTV footage revealed the offence happened on May 30 and Police are seeking to identify two persons of interest.
