Emergency services were called to a licensed premises on the Great Western Highway at Emu Plains at about 1.45am yesterday morning following reports of a fire.
A 29-year-old man with serious burns was treated at the scene before being taken to Nepean Hospital. He was transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he died at about 9pm last night.
A 30-year-old man with serious burns was also treated by paramedics at Avoca Street, Emu Plains. He was also take to Nepean Hospital.
