Leading 3-0 at halftime after a hat-trick of Jack Elliott penalty corner conversions, Parkes went on with the job to post a further two in the second period for a morale boosting result.
To their credit, Dubbo never gave up and scored late on, but it was nothing more than consolation at United ran out four goal winners.
United started the game well, moving the ball around to attack Dubbo with width and speed.
This led to the home side creating a number of chances early on.
However, as with last week, they could not convert from general play and it fell to Elliott to make the most of a penalty corner on 14 minutes.
The star striker beat the keeper high to the left to put United up 1-0.
Unlike the week before, United did not switch off and continued to execute their game plan inside their attacking 25.
They probed at the Dubbo defence before another penalty corner saw Elliott make no mistake as his drag flick flew into the top right corner to give his side a two goal advantage after 24 minutes.
When Elliott completed a first half hat-trick on the stroke of halftime after converting another penalty, this time low to the goalkeeper’s right, United were clearly in the ascendancy.
After the break, it did not take long for Untied to move further ahead as Elliott bagged his fourth, again from a penalty corner, just two minutes into the second half.
United continued their attack on the Dubbo defence and earned a penalty stroke.
A good run by Hamish Orr created space for a Josh Kearney shot on goal, only for a Dubbo defender to hit the ball with the back of his stick in front of goal.
Kearney was denied a goal as the Dubbo goalkeeper guessed correctly as the United attacker tried to place the ball into the left side of the net.
United continued to press forward and were rewarded when Tim Somers got his name on the scoresheet with a well taken shot for 5-0. Courtesy of a well placed overhead pass, Dubbo added some respectability to the score.
The pass put the United defence under pressure and a well timed tackle led to a shot by Stuart McKenzie who had beat Parkes keeper Nick Kelly for 5-1.
Best for United in a team that all played well were Jack Elliott, Tim Somers and Hamish Orr.
