The eight-point win over the Gorillas followed on from the Boars’ 28-24 victory over Bathurst Bulldogs the week before.
Sharing the honours in the first half, the Boars kept the visitors scoreless in the second period to claim back-to-back wins.
Scores were locked at 7-all after the first 40 minutes before the Boars scored a penalty goal, followed by a try with 15 minutes to go, to seal the win.
Parkes opened the scoring in the eighth minute when Rowan Pearce barged over for a five-pointer and James Dean added the extras for 7-0.
On the back of some strong work in the forwards, Narromine levelled the score at 7-all with 10 minutes remaining in the first half.
Scores remained level until 15 minutes into the second half when a Dean penalty goal gave the home side a three point advantage.
When Josh Miles scored with less than 16 minutes remaining, Parkes had done enough to secure a hard fought win.
Best for Parkes were Rowan Pearce, Joe Nash and Josh Miles.
