Already 400 people have experienced this wonderful production.
The audiences have been blown away by the Year 5 to Year 12 talent that has been on show.
The fabulous music and quality singing is a feature of Young Hercules.
And the good news is there are still two shows to go!
Young Hercules has been up to mischief and as punishment his father Zeus allows his nasty step-mother Hera to set six tasks for Hercules to make amends.
Hercules is supported by his good friend Iolaus as he kills a lion and destroys the Hydra among his trials.
The musical “Young Hercules” has much adventure, great songs, and humour and is brought to life by the talented and eager 25 students, from Year 5 through to Year 12, from across the four Henry Parkes Learning Community schools.
The staging of this musical is a perfect example of the opportunities that students have as a result of the close professional ties that exist within the Learning Community.
There are still two shows to go - 7pm this evening; and a matinee at 1pm tomorrow.
Tickets are available at the Parkes High School office or at the door for $5.00 a child or concession holder and $10.00 an adult.
As well as school staff, ex-student Ben Bevan is providing valuable assistance.
A big thank you to Parkes Paint and Heating for their support.
