Police are continuing their enquiries into an accident outside the Holy Family School in Albert Street on Wednesday morning which resulted in a motor cyclist being transported to Orange Base Hospital.

Police report the accident occurred at 9.05am after a 44 year-old Parkes woman exited a drop-off zone and attempted a u-turn.
It resulted in a 29 year-old Parkes man riding a motorbike to crash into the side door of the car.
The rider was ejected onto the roadway and was assisted at the scene until ambulance and police arrived.
The woman was transported to the Parkes Hospital suffering shock and later released, whilst the motorcyclist was transported to Orange with suspected hip injuries.
However, he was later assessed as having suffered a slight head injury and a broken thumb and kept in hospital overnight.
Theft
A BMX bike has been reported stolen from a residence on the Peak Hill Road, Parkes.
The theft is alleged to have occurred between midnight Sunday and midday Wednesday.
The Kink brand 20’’ BMX comes with white wall tyres, black seat and distinctive green rocket valve caps.
The bike is valued at $700.
