Consistent batting by the majority of the Piranhas batsmen, led by Andrew Charlton, led them to a solid total of 7-150 from their 30 overs.
Two seasoned Reedy Creek campaigners in Ron Hetherington and Craig Chapple caused problems for the Piranhas batting line up.
In reply, Chapple and John Crisp took Reedy Creek Greens to 88 runs before they lost their third wicket.
A couple of run outs did not help Greens chances in their desperate efforts to snatch victory. Damien Biles turned in a key spell for Piranhas.

defeated Reedy Creek Green 8-148 off 30 overs (Craig Chapple 54, John Crisp 24, Ryan Dunn 21, Damien Biles 3-11 off 3 overs, Andrew Charlton 3-27 off 5 overs).
Piranhas (5 points) defeated Greens (no points) by two runs.

Redbacks win close contest over club mates
The succession of closely contested B grade games continued last weekend when Parkes Hotel Redbacks snatched a 15 run victory over derby rivals Parkes Hotel Honey Badgers with some outstanding individual batting performances highlighting the match.
Redbacks’ Shane Jones scored 100no with 13 fours and 2 sixes, becoming the second B grade player to score a century this season.
Jones’ dominant innings came after a fine opening partnership of 42 from Steve Maier and Malcolm Bruce.
Jones did not have everything his own way as Honey Badgers’ Nathan Gaidzionis and Chris Orr bowled well to restrict Redbacks to 9-210 after 30 overs.
In reply, the Honey Badgers were in deep trouble at 4-16 after a devastating opening spell from from Redbacks speedster Jacob Parker.
The game took a major turn when the ever-consistent Orr brothers, Chris and Tom, took to the bowling to put on 154 runs for the fifth wicket.
Chris hammered 12 fours and 4 sixes on his way to 91, while Tom hit 10 fours and in completing a smart 72no.
Redbacks held firm to eventually win a well played game by 15 runs.

defeated Parkes Hotel Honey Badgers 5-195 off 30 overs (Chris Orr 91, Tom Orr 72no, Jacob Parker 3-21 off 6 overs).
Redbacks (5 points) defeated Honey Badgers (no points) by 15 runs.

Star wins low scoring contest over Buckets
In a low scoring game, Star Hotel bowled tightly to restrict Rusty Buckets to 9-106 from their 30 overs.
Jack Smith and Kent Chamberlain caused problems after Star’s opening bowlers Dane Thorne and Corey Rowbotham both bowled miserly.
Ed Wilson caused problems for the early order Star batsmen.
After some late order defiance from Rowbotham, Chamberlain and Tyson Spence, Star Hotel were able to sneak to an important victory.
Spence returned to the batting crease after suffering an injury earlier in the innings.
