Only Joe van Opynen, who hit 5 fours in scoring 29 runs was able to build an innings of substance.
Sam Carty, Benji Glasheen and Will Harry were particularly successful for Reedy Creek Gold.
The Gold batsmen had little difficulty in scoring the necessary runs for victory, despite the keen efforts of van Opynen who took two wickets for Pythons.

Reedy Creek Gold (5 points) defeated Parkes Hotel Pythons (no points) by eight wickets.

Beefeaters suffer first loss of the season Royals
Royals took quick time to rattle up 166 runs from only 23.1 overs before being all out in their match against Cambridge Beefeaters.
Thomas Bateson, with 6 fours and 2 sixes, and Lionel Lovett, with 3 fours and 3 sixes, led the way for Royals.
Youngster Nathan Pye and the ever reliable Matt Spedding led the Beefeaters bowling attack.
Matt Clarke and Lovett gained early Beefeaters wickets before Jeremy Clarke chimed in to secure five wickets including a hat-trick to give Royals an easy victory.
Only Cameron Standen and Nathan Pye held up the Royals bowlers.
