Last year the Central West Car Club Car show was the biggest yet, with more than 180 entries.
This resulted in the club donating the magnificent sum of $7,800 to Can Assist.
Can Assist also collected a gold coin donation from spectators as they entered and managed to collect more than $2,400.
It is only through the support of the businesses and people of this wonderful town that Can Assist received this great boost in just one day.
The Car Club wishes to thank them all for their great support in the past and again this year.
This year, there are already more than 30 stalls booked for the market portion of the Car Show with a great range of products available.
There will be a canteen on site providing hot food and cold drinks just in case patrons get hungry whilst admiring the wonderful vehicles on display.
Gates open to the public for viewing at 10am.
A highlight of the display will be the Summernats 27 winner, “Old Love” which will be on display to give patrons an example of top quality workmanship.
The club is also planning to add some local Summernats, Elite 60 qualifiers, to create a stunning display of outstanding cars.
The Show is again attracting vehicle enthusiasts from around the state and even some from interstate, including members of the Aussie Commodores Club, Monaro Owner Drivers and Enthusiasts Club, B Series Ford Club, SS Commodore Owners Club, and the Sundowners Van & Street Club.
The club invites people to go along and enjoy the great display and talk to the owners about their wonderful vehicles and at the same time, help the Central West Car Club raise funds for Can Assist Parkes Branch.
Entries of vehicles will be accepted on the day to go into the running to win one of more than 30 trophies.
