Despite the low number of A grade teams, the top competition shapes as an intriguing season as Cambridge, Commercials and Reedy Creek battle for premiership honours.
The executive of the PDCA plan to allow some A grade players to be eligible for B grade when their side has the bye.
The pool of A grade players who will be eligible will become evident after registration forms are handed in this weekend.
The B grade competition format of 30 overs-a-side games certainly appears to be popular as the most number of teams in recent memory will compete in what is sure to be a top competition.
The B grade competition will see 11 weeks of cricket from tomorrow to December 19, before the Christmas-New Year break.
The points table at that stage will determine which sides will feature in two divisions.
The top six teams will play for the Coolibah Cup while the bottom five teams will play for the Radiola Cup.
After the break there will be five weeks of cricket before semi-finals, providing an excellent opportunity for B grade players to enjoy their cricket.
DRAW
The draw for tomorrow’s games is as follows:
(All games begin at 1pm)
A grade - Cambridge v Commercials at Northparkes Oval; Reedy Creek has the bye.

Captains should note that all completed match result sheets (including 3-2-1 allocations for Best and Fairest players) are to be returned to Greg Morrissey at 1 Bowditch Crescent by 8pm on Saturday evenings after the matches.
This greatly assists in the publication of match reports and the collection of statistics for the Parkes Champion Post.
Match results and the next round’s draw will be printed in the Champion Post on Wednesdays.
One competition will be deducted from teams who do not comply with this request.
It is the responsibility of the winning team to return the result sheet and ground inspection sheet.
Captains must ensure that player registration forms are neatly and accurately completed by all players before they take the field.
These must be returned to Greg Morrissey along with match result sheets after every game.
Players and spectators at all PDCA games are reminded of the no alcohol ban at all grounds.
