During the planned Open Day on November 28, the 50,000th ticket sale to the museums is expected to take place.
The Open Day is a biennial event with the aim of encouraging the local community to attend and discover what’s on offer within the complex.
This in turn will result in locals becoming word of mouth `ambassadors’ for the site by encouraging visitation from friends and relatives.
The open day - 10am to 4pm, Saturday, November 28, will offer free entry to all museums, car displays, demonstrations and kids activities.
All in all it will be a great day for the whole family.
