This Education Week, students of Middleton Public School took the opportunity to share their great work with their parents and caregivers during open classrooms yesterday.

Visitors were invited to stay and share lunch with the children between 11.30am and 12.20pm.
The school library ran a special book stall where books that were sold were donated back to the library, with the name of the person who donated it recognised in the front cover.
Students took their visitors for a walk around the new gardens and orchard.
They also checked out the mosaics and screens.
The rejuvenated Buddy Bench and yarn bomb tree and table were popular sights, as was the owls “Waste to Art” tree which won first place at the Regional Waste Art Awards.
