A teenager will face court today after he allegedly fled from police in a stolen car.

About 9pm yesterday, police attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Clarinda Street, Parkes, for the purpose of a random breath test.
The driver allegedly accelerated away from police and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued onto Brolgan Road reaching speeds in excess of 150kmh
The pursuit ended after the vehicle suffered mechanical failure and officers arrested the three occupants.
Three boys, all aged 16, were taken to Parkes Police Station.
The alleged driver of the vehicle has been charged with a number of offences including take and drive conveyance, learner unaccompanied, police pursuit, possession of a weapon upon arrest, and custody of a knife.
He was refused bail and will appear in children’s court today.
The two other teens were released without charge.
