Police are expecting to make further arrests as investigations continue into the illegal supply of prescription medication in Parkes.

Last Thursday, police attached to Strike Force Godos, arrested three members of the one family on drug related matters including the supply and possession of prohibited drugs.
This was after warrants were executed on two homes in Clarinda and Cecile Streets - the culmination of investigations into the on-selling to members of the public prescription drugs obtained from medical practitioners throughout the area.
Strike Force Godos was established by detectives attached to the Lachlan Local Area Command in May 2015.
Their target was the supply of legally prescribed medication including Fentanyl patches - a type of Morphine drug - and Ritalin tablets.
Carolyn Anne Sutton (65) along with her grandson Bradie Watt (26) were arrested at their home in Cecile Street, while Christine Watt (42), the mother of Bradie, was arrested at her home in Clarinda Street.
Sutton was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug and later granted conditional bail to appear at Parkes Local Court on July 20.
However, Christine Watt and son Bradie had their applications for bail refused last Thursday and again on Monday at Parkes Local Court.
They will remain in custody until their next scheduled court appearances on August 17.
Detective Steve Howard said yesterday police allege during a four week period, Christine Watt was detected supplying prohibited drugs on at least 40 occasions.
She has been charged with supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
26 year-old Bradie Watt has been charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug, one of possessing a prohibited drug, possessing ammunition and one count of having goods in custody.
“During the last 12 months within the Lachlan Local Area Command, drugs such as Fentanyl, have been linked to two drug fatalities,” Detective Howard said.
“And on top of these tragedies, Police and medical personnel have fought to revive patients who have overdosed on these types of drugs.
“The arrests of the three family members last Thursday is only the beginning.
“Continuing investigations have identified a number of persons illegally selling their prescription medications and we expect to make further arrests,” Detective Howard said.
