Parkes Juniors climbed to third on the Group XI table with their fourth win of the season when they defeated Nyngan Tigers 42-8 on Sunday.

The away trip to Nyngan is never an easy one and the Juniors took the first half before finally hitting their straps in the second.
Only leading 6-4 at the break, Parkes found form in the second stanza to run out easy 42-8 winners.
Both sides scored a try in a first half riddled with errors and dropped ball before the Juniors scored six tries to one and claim an important victory.
The match started well for Parkes after Billy Burns made a break before finding Jesse Parker in support to score under the posts.
Parker’s successful conversion gave Parkes a 6-0 lead after five minutes.
The home side hit back with a try of their own three minutes later to reduce the margin to two points.
Neither side was able to gain the ascendancy for the remainder of the half with the many errors stopping the flow of the game.
Parkes came out of the half-time break keen to atone for their poor opening performance and added to their lead after only five minutes.
In a superb solo performance, Bill Burns again busted through the Nyngan defensive line to run 50 metres and score.
Parker made no mistake with the extras for 12-4 to the visitors.
A great kick return from Parker saw him race 80 metres, beating several would-be tacklers to score under the posts.
The conversion saw Parkes out to an 18-4 lead which grew to 24-4 minutes later.
Joe Dwyer scythed through the defence on the halfway line.
He ran 20 metres before finding Tyson Eastment in support to run away and score.
Nyngan scored their second try, but Parkes could smell a win and kept their foot on the pedal.
Parker scored his second after a good team move involving several passes and Burns secured a hat-trick with two late tries involving the star back-rower busting a number of tackles.
Parker made it seven from seven and the Juniors enjoyed a solid 42-8 victory.
Best for Parkes were Burns, Parker, Ethan McKellar, Tyson Eastment and Ethan Richards.
