Attending performers consisted of 10 regular walk-ups joined by visitors Tina and Brendon Podger from Cooma and Brian Coulton of Moruya.
Featured performers were duo Carol Woods and Glenda Bain from Sanctuary Bay, and Roz Webb and George Szelecki of Western Sydney and Rick Llambias of Sanctuary Bay from the country band, Vintage Four.
Carol and Glenda performed a great selection of songs featuring close harmonies and yodel, something rarely heard today in this area (Glenda won the yodel section of the Parkes Festival in 1995).
Rick, George and Roz really had the crowd involved with many well known and popular songs from their Vintage Four shows. Roz is an outstanding vocalist and again, something not usually heard too often here in Parkes but very much appreciated by the large audience gathered in the Starlight Lounge for this special day’s concert.
Amongst the audience were many visitors to Parkes and local district folk taking in a country music concert for the first time and all together with many regular country devotees.
