Alan came out strong to take the first game 15-5.
Jordan regathered and took the second 15-11.
The third game was close with Jordan just getting the edge 15-13 to secure a 2-1 lead.
A strong performance in the fourth saw him close out the match 15-9.
Sam Hornery and Tim Piper played a marathon five set match with Tim just able to get over the line for his team.
Sam took the first two games (15-9, 15-12) before Tim refocused and was able to level the scores, winning the next two games (15-10, 15-7).
The decider went in Tim’s favour 15-11.
Brenden Brewer and Ron Jackson played each other last week.
Brenden and Ron hit together socially each week so should have been familiar with each others games.
It worked best in Brenden’s favour this round, taking the match in four (15-8, 11-15, 15-3, 15-12).

Steven Hanani was in good form last week, playing Reece Bodium on the four line.
Steven started well taking the first game 15-10.
The second went to a long game, going in Steven’s favour 17-16.
The third went to a long again, this time with Reece getting up 17-15.
A win in the fourth to Reece 15-12 saw the games locked at 2-all.
Reece powered through the decider to take the match 15-6.
Steven then subbed up to the third line to take on Pauline Van Der Merwe.
Steven took the first two games (15-4, 15-14) before Pauline found form to take the third 15-13. Steven was able to close out the match 15-13.
Jed Thompson and Brian Mann played one of the longest matches, despite only going to three games.
Jed got up 15-10, 15-13, 15-10, but the pace of the shots and length of each rally meant every point was hard fought.
Chester Kelly continues to improve, last week taking on Jeff Page.
Jeff just got claimed first 15-13.
Chester played some smart shots and got the second 15-9.
Jeff took the next two (15-11, 15-4) to close out the match.
