Rovers defeated Cellar Crows 9-0 in a one-sided affair.
Brad Simpson (3), Mitchell Ward (2), Ian Westcott (2), Shane Jones and Hamish Orr all contributed for Rovers.
Best and Fairest for Rovers were Michael Minnett and Ian Westcott.
Cellars’ best were Richard Rice and Ryan Edwards.
In A grade womens, Middleton defeated Cellar Crows 4-2 in an entertaining match.
Goals for Middleton were scored by Sami Afele, Tamara Fagan, Paige Hay and Sarah Melhuish.
Ally Smith and Claudia Lovett both scored for Cellars.
Peta Fagan continued her good form from the previous week, once again impressing both umpires.
Best and Fairest were Peta Fagan, Paige Hay and Sarah Melhuish for Middleton.
Ella J Harris and Lyndal Matthews were best for Cellars.
Magpies defeated Cubs 2-0 in a very competitive match which saw some excellent hockey played by both teams.
Stacey Ross scored after a scramble in the circle and Wendy Rix scored a superb individual goal to secure the Magpies victory.
Best and Fairest for Magpies were Stacey Ross, Codie Wakefield, Skye Harris and Syann Allen.
Tracey Chambers and Tracey Harrison were Cubs’ best.
In the B grade womens competition, Rovers Black defeated Middleton Eagles 4-0.
The score could have been much higher but for an outstanding performance in goals by Clodagh O’Brien.
Goals for Rovers were scored by Georgia Huppatz, Carla Peden, Cassie Ward and Ashleigh Ward.
Best and Fairest were Lucy Kearney, Emmie Searl, Ashleigh Ward and Maggie Wright for Rovers.
Eagles’ best were Clodagh O’Brien and Sarah Pease.
Rovers Gold narrowly defeated Marist 2-0.
Hannah Ross and Tammy Tanks both made the most of good opportunities in the circle to seal Rovers’ victory.
Best and Fairest for Rovers were Katie Healey, Susie Mackay, Hannah Ross and Shianne Quinn.
Marist’s best were Justine Morrissey and Sharon Dean-Moody.
Middleton Pink narrowly got the result against Middleton Maroon winning 1-0.
Jenna Evans was the lone goal scorer in the match.
Best and Fairest for Pink were Lori Ross, Peta Fagan, Karen Ross and Amanda Draper.
Lynne Bourke and Lyn Cassell were Maroon’s best.
Cellar Crows Aqua defeated Magpies White 4-0.
Lauren Bourke (2), Lucy Blackstock and Madeline Swan all scored for Cellars in a strong team performance.
Best and Fairest for Cellars were Emily Blackstock, Madeline Swan, Maddison Thomson and Katie Nash.
Magpies best was Kristy Collins.
Cellar Crows Black were far too strong for Magpies Black winning 9-1.
Cellars showed plenty of class in the circle with goals to Annie Hay (3), Michelle Skinner (2), Toni Speakman (2), Kerrie Kennedy and Jess Lawford.
Emma Jones was the lone goal scorer for Magpies.
Lyndal Matthews and Annie Hay were Best and Fairest for Cellars while Magpies best were Emma Jones and Maddie Luck.
In B grade mens, Cellar Crows defeated Magpies Black 5-4 in a very tight and entertaining match.
Luke Hodges (2), Steve Collins, Greg Magill and Thomas Hitchick scored for Cellars with Rodney Coleman and Kaine Byrnes grabbing doubles for Magpies.
Best and Fairest for Cellars were Dane Hendry, Steve Collins, Clint Sanderson and Luke Hodges.
Magpies’ best was Cooper Byrnes.
