Young could field only 10 players and they were unable to handle the powerful Parkes attack, being bundled out for just 75 runs.
They made the bowlers work hard for the wickets, with more than 30 overs sent down, many of them maidens.
In the end, only three players made it into double figures, with H Furner top scoring with 20, and M Broderick 10 and J Dodge 11 adding some runs.
All five Parkes bowlers were successful - Phil Dunford 2/6 (7 overs), Brent Tucker 1/12 (10), Sam Carty 1/12 (5), Blake Smith 1/22 (6) and Anthony Heraghty 2/22 (5).
Parkes suffered some early setbacks despite the meagre chase, losing openers Luke Clarke (3) and Andrew Johns (6) cheaply to be 2/9.
Myles Smith went for a duck and the score was 3/15.
But that only brought the real might of the Parkes team, captain Anthony Heraghty and Peter Yelland to the crease.
They took control of proceedings and scored the necessary runs with little difficulty in just the 13th over.
Heraghty belted 57 not out in quick time, including five fours and two sixes, while Yelland watched his skipper in action to finish with 10 not out.
Opening bowlers N Anderson 2/21(5) and N Corbett 1/25 (5) shared the wickets which fell.
