Some of her current students she actually taught at school many years ago.
With her usual skill, she will have them up to the mark quickly and the club will be glad to welcome them.
On Thursday, February 19, the club played a six table Mitchell movement of five boards a round.
North-south winners were Dawn Phipps and Eve Hayes on 54.3%.
They were closely followed by Joan Reilly and Val Worthington on 54% while Gai Baker and Anne Berkeley on 51.3% finished third.
On the east-west side, Conway Seymour and Bonnie Gwyn were first with 61.3%.
They were followed by Bev Laing and Isabel Orange on 54.7% and Jenny Freeman and Helen Hall on 53.7%.
Last Monday, the best result was recorded by Margaret Hawken and Jan Latter on 57.3%.
Next were Beth Symington and Gary Somers on 55.2%, Keith Fiedler and Judy Melville (53.1%), and Bill Burke and Dawn Phipps equal with Jennifer Calvert and Anne Berkeley on 51%.
On Tuesday, winners were Isabel Orange and Dawn Phipps on 62.5%.
Margaret Powter and Wendy Andrews were next best with 56.5%, and equal third with 51.8% were Joan Reilly and Barbara Magill, and Jan Freeman and Val Boyd.
