It is always a great event with lots of fun and friendship.
President Ben McNaughton enjoyed his first President’s Day, mainly in the bar.
The Club thanks the ladies who provided a lovely lunch. Overall winners were Tony Peisley, Rick Stewart and Luke Ramsay.
Runners-up were Shane Sharman, Bernie Coleman and Athol Wade.
Morning winners were Graham Thomson, Graham Cole and Garry Phillips while the afternoon winners were Mick Valentine, Joe Crowley and Alan Affleck.
18 bowlers participated in Wednesday bowls with Terry Clothier and Kev Hynds winning the day.
Runners-up were Bob Freeman, John Keogh and Les Cannon.
Saturday evening and Thursday evening bowls were well represented with good numbers taking part.
Any bowlers looking to form a Club Fours team or single entries are asked to contact Mick Furney or Graham Thomson as soon as possible.
Bowlers are also reminded a mini carnival will be hosted shortly with a date to be set.
Good trophies will be up for grabs for team or single entries.
Saturday evening bowls require names in by 6pm for a 6.30pm start with everyone welcome.
Coming up on February 7, the club is hosting a trivia night for teams of six at $10 per head.
Put names on the board for a fun night.
Raffles, badge draw, joker draw, lots of meat trays, hamper and lovely meals all available at the club tonight.
