Ms Revelyn Ramos from The Philippines was one of more than 3000 from 100 different countries who swore allegiance to their new country of residence on the day.
Revelyn was a very proud and happy resident as she took the oath from Parkes Mayor Ken Keith and then received her Citizenship certificate in front of a large crowd.
Revelyn, who is married to Robert Bullough, arrived in Australia on February 9, 2009, and came to Parkes in May 2011.
She was previously a co-owner of D Indian Express and Aussie Cuisine at the Parkes Bowling and Sports Club and is currently working with the Fast Food Service crew.
Her hobbies include cooking and surfing the web.
