Royals batted first to total 103 with the Umbers brothers, Vince and Alex, leading the way.
Vince top scored with a valiant 34 runs while Commercial Colts’ Mitch Wheeldon made a promising return to bowling by claiming 4-26.
Hayden Sealy, Toby Nash and youngster Josh Duffy caused plenty of problems for the Royals batsmen.
In reply, Commercial captain Peter Yelland (1 four and 1 six) gave his side a solid start as wickets fell around him to the good bowling of Phil Dunford, Blake Smith and Paul Dunford.
It took a determined innings from Ben Coultas (1 four) to guide Commercial to victory in a well contested match.
