Vice President Pamela Ward welcomed all the members and visitors and wished President Sue McLennan a speedy recovery after her hip replacement.
In between the traditional roast dinner and delicious desserts, much fun was had with lots of amusing skits, with bad acting, lucky door prizes and great raffles.
It was the perfect send off for our two month break, after a very busy year with our regular monthly luncheons, with interesting and informative guest speakers, entertainment and fund raising activities including a Soup and Dessert day and two Trivia Nights held during the year.
Our beautiful Christmas cake was made by Elvie Collins and decorated by Bev Rowe, and was the perfect ending to our happy day.
All money raised by VIEW Club is used to support disadvantaged children through the Learning for Life Programme
We look forward to seeing all our existing members and perhaps some new ones next year.
Our first meeting will be held at the Railway Hotel on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.
