We Wreck ‘M N We Fix ‘M scored one shot on the last end to win a close, low scoring game 7-6 against Rolling Stones.
High Rollers won the last three ends to defeat Uniting Church 13-7.
The Battlers scored eight shots over the last four ends to snatch a 13-all draw with Two & A Half Fitters.
The other winning teams were Casey Surveying 1, Casey Surveying 2, Three Amigos, Rok F-M, Bushies, Super Bees and Elle.
Major winners were Rok F-M with minor winners being Casey Surveying 1.
The lucky losers prize was won by Saints.
SOCIAL BOWLS
22 bowlers contested four games of Pairs and one Triples last Thursday.
Allan Wright, Les Kent and Geoff Freeman played Bob Freeman, Bill Skinner and Col Hayward.
Allan, Les and Geoff held a narrow 7-5 lead after eight ends.
They then won the next six ends to lead 21-5 and went on to win 25-11.
Phil Helies and Dave Buggie played Noel Nicholson and Greig Ball.
Noel and Greig held an 8-1 lead then Phil and Dave won six of the next eight ends, including a maximum eight shot end, to lead 18-11.
Noel and Greig narrowed the margin to 18-15 before Phil and Dave stormed home, winning the last five ends, to record a 26-15 win.
After trailing 9-4, John Keogh and Mike Valentine completely dominated the remainder of the game to record a 30-11 win over John Hodge and John Carr.
Ray Jones and John Ward scored a narrow 17-16 win over Rob Irving and Kevin Hynds.
Ron Hornery and John Corcoran played John Dunn and Warren Bevan in a very close match which saw the score tied on four occasions.
The score was 18-all after 20 ends before Ron and John scored three shots on the last end to win 21-18.
Major winners were Allan Wright, Les Kent and Geoff Freeman with the minor winners being Phil Helies and Dave Buggie.
Only 18 bowlers braved the very hot conditions last Saturday for social bowls.
They played three games of Pairs and one Triples.
Rob Irving and John Ward led all the way in their 26-13 win over John Hodge and Gary McPhee.
Nimo Mills and Col Hayward played Tom Furey and Dave Johnson.
Tom and Dave led 8-4 after eight ends.
Nimo and Col then won seven of the next eight ends to lead 18-10 and survived a Tom and Dave fight back to come out winners 21-17.
Ron Fisher and Kevin Hynds played John Keogh and John Dunn.
Ron and Kevin had a handy 10-1 lead after seven ends before the two John’s won the next three ends and grabbed a narrow 11-10 lead.
Ron and Kevin then won the next five ends to lead 20-11 and held on to win the game 23-17.
In the Triples game, Ray Jones, Gordon Dickson and Mike Valentine played Guy Ellery, Joe Crowley and Greig Ball.
After leading 11-0 Ray, Gordon and Mike maintained that advantage throughout and went on to win 27-11.
Major winners were Ray Jones, Gordon Dickson and Mike Valentine.
Minor winners were Ron Fisher and Kevin Hynds.
SUNDAY JACKPOT
10 bowlers played one game of Pairs and one Triples last Sunday morning.
Bob Freeman, Chris Dunn and Col Mudie played Mick Blunt, Chris Davison (Qld) and Guy Ellery.
Bob, Chris and Col held an early 5-4 lead before Mick, Chris and Guy won seven of the last eight ends to win the game 18-7.
Dave Buggie and Rob Irving led 15-3 after nine ends and held on to defeat Alan Affleck and Tom Furey 16-10.
Prize winners were Chris Davison, Alan Affleck, Col Mudie and Mick Blunt.
The jackpot was not won and will be $860 next week.
Go along on Sunday morning for a game of bowls, a sausage sandwich, and a chance to win the jackpot.
Names in by 9:30am for a 10am start.

Owing to the extreme weather conditions last Sunday, the Parkes Auto Wreckers and Littlewood Smash Repairs sponsored event has been deferred to a future date with cooler weather.
ST ANDREW’S DAY
A Scottish Sunday is being held on November 30 to celebrate St Andrew’s Day.
This day is sponsored by bowls president Alan Affleck.
This is a mixed mufti day featuring three games of eight-end, three bowl Pairs.
Names to be in by 1pm with play to commence at 1:30pm.
Following the bowls presentation there will be a variety concert between 5-6pm then a BBQ tea at 6:30pm.
All bowlers and friends are invited to this fun day and to be in the running for one of the many prizes on offer.
