A NSW Air Ambulance was called to Parkes on Wednesday after a 23 year old local man fell off a beam at a worksite.

At 3.55pm, the man is believed to have fallen between one and two metres at the worksite on Wangara Lane and sustained severe head injuries upon impact.
He was conveyed to Parkes Hospital before being flown to Westmead Childrens Hospital via helicopter.
The man is in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

Police were called to a house fire at a residence on Boorr Hill Road in Trundle this week.
At 10.30pm last Tuesday, Police arrived at the scene of the fire and were advised it was in the kitchen.
The local Rural Fire Service attended the scene and extinguished the fire.
No one was injured with approximately $10 000 in damage to the house.
