With Christmas just around the corner, the Parkes Neighbourhood Centre is looking forward to spreading some Christmas fever and sprinkling Peak Hill with some festive magic.

It is holding a free community event, and is inviting resident to go along, cool down and have some fun in the sun at the “Boori Christmas Pool Party” which will be held at Peak Hill Memorial Pool on Saturday (December 6) between 1pm and 5pm.
This community event promises to be a fun-filled family friendly celebration and everyone is welcome to attend.
There will be plenty of Christmas activities for all to enjoy, including: free pool entry if you arrive by 4pm,
There will be a free hot dog lunch, fun activities and games, Christmas carols and music, hampers and lucky door prizes to give away for all ages, a lolly bag drop.
And let’s not forget the man himself all the way from the North Pole, Santa Clause.
He will be making a special appearance in Peak Hill to wish everyone a merry Christmas; photo opportunities with Santa will be available.
The event is proudly presented by the Parkes Neighbourhood Centre, Parkes Shire Council, Wedding Hire Parkes, Peak Hill Friendly Grocer and The Peak Hill Bakery.
Adult supervision is required for children under the age of 13 years.
