All the students participated in the walk around the school grounds, raising some $2,900 through sponsorship.
And a further financial increase of $760 from the Parkes Garden Club really topped off the event.
The Garden Club raised the money from its recent Open Gardens day, which was based around the school where stalls and information sessions were held.
