Running with her neice Georgia Huppatz, who won the 11/12 Years Girls division, Denise finished third behind Forbes star Jessica Pascoe and Amber Rich with a time of 26:56.
Denise was reasonably happy with her time as it was very hot and windy.
She has been doing a few runs since hockey season finished.
