Is it ‘roach clusters’, ‘Bread and Butter Pudding Surprise’ (the surprise being snails) or ‘Marmite Cake’?
At the St George’s Family Fete this Saturday, they will be searching for the King, or Queen, of Cordon Bleugh in honour of Letitia Cropley, a character in the TV Show ‘Vicar of Dibley’ renowned for her interesting culinary exploits.
Entries for the contest can be dropped at the Church office this Friday October 24, or on the day of the fete before 9:30am to the Vicar of Dibley herself.
There are two and two age groups - Junior, up to Year 8; and Senior, from year 9 and upwards.
Food can be produced in three categories - Sweets, Savoury and ‘Who Knows?’.
Ingredients need to be on a card accompanying the entry.
Entries will be judged at 10:30 am, with prizes awarded for presentation and uniqueness.
So be outlandish, be stylish and be different, enter the bake-off!
