A 1970s model plane crash-landed at the edge of Morton National Park about 11.35am following mechanical difficulties.
The plane was found in a bushland clearing at Touga, just north of Nerriga, just before 1pm.
The male pilot was airlifted from the scene for precautionary medical checks. He is believed to have minor injuries.
He was the sole occupant of the plane.
